It is a tradition that comes from the old Compulsory Military Service, when the boys, who had turned 19 years old, celebrated a party for a few days, since there were many who left their homes for the first time.

Over time, the party became a tradition.

The festival begins with a meeting, in the previous days, in the Dehesa to eat potatoes with rabbit and enjoy a day in the field.

The culmination of these festivities is on the 31st. The "fifths" start the day very early. First they go up to the pasture to cut firewood, in the middle of the morning they have lunch between jokes and laughter, and around one o'clock in the afternoon, they go down to the town in a pilgrimage.

The height of the party has arrived! The firewood trucks are unloaded, with the waiters still on them, before the attentive gaze and the uproar of all those present and then a brotherhood meal is made with all the neighbors.

At twelve o'clock at night, after twelve strokes, the fifths light the firewood and continue with their party.
